SUPRAVENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA MANAGEMENT
ECG FINDINGS
- 12 lead ECG shows a narrow complex, regular
- Heart rate > 220.
- P waves are seen for each QRS complex.
INVESTIGATIONS
- 12 lead ECG if suspected
- If on medication, measure levels (Digoxin, Theophylline)
TREATMENT
- Assess ABC and resuscitate if required
- Monitor – ECG, Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturations
