Resuscitation equipment preparation
Keeping an up to date Resus trolley is extremely important.
It is advised to have at least 2 sets of equipment ready always based on the number of beds so that one of them is always available.
It is extremely important to go through the contents on a daily basis and keep a record book to check if the necessary arrangements have been made regularly.
These days the trolleys can also be locked with a non-tamper able ‘tags’ so no one can tamper with it
